If you don't continue after your 14-day Essential trial, you move to Free and your data stays right where it is. You keep your daily check-in, wellness logging, goals, the Is This a Scam? checker, your Emergency Card, Home Repair Help, three brain games, your past Home Safety Check reports and their room-by-room scores, and your AI companion, free for as long as you like. Add more whenever you're ready.
How does the 14-day trial work for older adults?
You start with full Essential access for 14 days, no credit card needed. After the trial, continue with Essential or move to Free, your choice. On Free you keep your daily check-in, wellness, goals, Is This a Scam?, Emergency Card, Home Repair Help, three brain games, your past Home Safety Check reports and their room-by-room scores, and your AI companion. Nothing is lost.
How does the free trial work for family members?
Family members can explore the platform for free with no time limit. You'll have access to preview features and learn about SeniorThrive. The 14-day trial and any billing only begin when your older adult activates their account.
What happens after my trial ends?
You move to Free, and it's genuinely generous, not a lockout. Your data is preserved, and you keep your daily check-in, wellness logging, goals, the Is This a Scam? checker, Emergency Card, Home Repair Help, three brain games, your past Home Safety Check reports and their room-by-room scores, and your AI companion. Upgrade to Essential whenever you want more, like new Home Safety Checks or bringing a family member in.
What happens to the photos from my Home Safety Check?
Photos are removed 90 days after a check, on every plan. What the check found stays with you: the report, the score, and the recommendations are all still there afterward, and you can reopen them any time even on the Free plan. You get one notice before the photos go, not a countdown, and you can save your own copy with the photos any time before then. We would rather hold pictures of the inside of your home for a short while than indefinitely.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes! You can change plans anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle.
Is it free to explore before my parent joins?
Yes. You can create your family dashboard and invite others anytime. Billing only begins once your loved one activates their Thrive account.
How will I know when billing starts?
You'll get a notification and confirmation email before activation billing begins, no hidden charges.
Can multiple family members join before activation?
Absolutely. Everyone you invite can explore SeniorThrive together, all free until the older adult activates their account. Seats are only charged from that point.
How much does it cost to add more people?
The $29 plan covers the older adult and one family member. Your 2nd, 3rd and 4th family members are +$10/mo each, and your 5th family member and beyond are +$5/mo each. So a six-person circle - the older adult plus five family members - is $64/mo. Additional seats bill monthly even on an annual base plan. Add or remove people anytime from the app; we prorate automatically. There is no cap and no sales call.
What care coordination tools do I get?
Once more than one person is in the circle you get shared care coordination, visit scheduling, care notes, incident reporting, condition-specific care packs, and self-care reminders. These come with the seats, not as a separate tier.
What is the Care Team Add-On?
The Care Team add-on lets families invite professional caregivers into their Circle at $15/mo per caregiver seat. Caregivers get visit documentation, care reporting, scheduling, and structured team communication. It is a different seat from a family member: a caregiver seat produces a record of each visit, not just a note.
My parents each need their own space - how does that work?
Every older adult gets their own Circle. Mom's health, medications, and check-ins are hers; Dad's are his. You see both from one login and switch between them in one tap.
Is there a discount for supporting two parents?

My parents are married - can they share anything?
When both parents say yes, their Circles can link as a household: home safety in both homes becomes visible to both families, a shared family room opens in Connect, and your weekly recap becomes one email covering both parents. Health information never crosses between them - linked or not, that stays private to each parent, always.
