You have been handed the aging in place checklist before. You fill it in, you keep it current, and you remember where you put it. We do not think age is a place. It is a life, lived at home and well beyond it, and living it takes tools rather than homework. These sixteen documents are what comes back already filled in, out of your house and your medicine cabinet and your last two weeks. Or theirs, if you are the one helping. Both of you can hold these. Open every one. There is no form in the way.
Where the house stands, what a stranger needs in an emergency, and how the day actually runs. The first two happen in an afternoon. The third is the one worth the sit-down.
For the family
The visit where everyone finally agrees on what to fix first
Room by room, what was found, why it matters, and what has already been done about it. Built from photos taken on a phone in about ten minutes, with the photos printed alongside the findings so nobody has to take our word for what the bathroom looks like.
For his wallet
The ambulance ride nobody planned
Blood type, allergies, current medications, and the one phone number that matters, on a card that fits behind a driver license. Print it, fold it, and it answers the first four questions a paramedic asks.

The first day somebody other than her has to run the day
The one document that is not automatic. A family sits down and answers questions about her, and this comes back: code status and who holds power of attorney, what to do when something changes, what a good day looks like, and the hour-by-hour of her actual routine. Most families never make one. The ones who do stop having the same argument every month.

What the published labeling says a medicine is for, what it says to watch for, and three questions worth asking. It takes no position on whether the medicine is right for anyone. That gets decided in the room, which is the point of bringing it.
For the conversation nobody starts
The year you notice he stopped driving to the coast
Category by category, with the weak areas named and the strong ones named just as plainly. This one is our own read and it says so in red, above the score: it is not a fitness-to-drive determination, and only a physician or the state can make one. What it gives a family is something specific to talk about instead of a standoff.

The Sunday night you admit you have no idea what to do first
Names what you are actually carrying, splits it into what you can do from four states away and what needs someone in the room, and gives you the opening sentences for the conversation you have been avoiding.

The hospital stay that starts at 2am
Feeding, medication, the vet's number, and the things only she knows: he is deaf in one ear, and he will tell you he has not been fed. Independence includes the part of her life nobody else thinks to write down.

Sun, water, and timing for one plant, printed for the potting bench. It is here because staying home is not only about what might go wrong. What she still wants to do with the season is worth writing down too.
These are about the end of a life, and we are telling you that before you scroll into them. They exist because the alternative is a family guessing in a hallway. They get written once, while there is time, and whoever they belong to writes them in their own words. Nobody writes them for you.
For the hospital hallway
The decision somebody has to make while she cannot
What she wants, in her words, written down while she is well. The cover says NOT AN ADVANCE DIRECTIVE in large letters because it is not one: it is the conversation you bring to the doctor who fills out the real form. Most families discover that difference at the worst possible moment.
For the week after
The week nobody can think straight and decisions cannot wait
Burial or cremation, where, who speaks, and whether a plan is already paid for. That last one matters more than it sounds: families buy a second plot every day because the paperwork for the first one was in a drawer nobody opened.

Not a document, a letter. She writes it now, to whoever she chooses, and it prints the way a letter should print. This is the only sample here that is not useful, and it is the one a family keeps.

Which accounts exist, what should happen to each, and where the physical key is taped. No passwords - a locator, not a keyring. The newspaper subscription is on there for a reason: cancel it or the papers pile up on the porch and the whole street knows.
Each file below came out of the same place yours would, run against a made-up household. Nobody designed these pages for the website and nobody touches them up. When the real thing changes, these get rebuilt and change with it.
The rooms in the Home Safety Report are generated images of a house that does not exist. A real report is assembled in the recipient’s own browser, and photographs of the inside of someone’s home never travel through our email or leave with a marketing team.
The care plan is the one that is not automatic. Nothing produces it in the background: a family answers a long set of questions about the person, and AI writes the plan back from those answers. Most families never sit down and do it. The sample is one invented family’s plan, not a template, and yours would read differently because the answers would be theirs.
Where a document states something about a medicine, it quotes published labeling and says so. It does not tell you whether a medicine is right for anyone. That conversation belongs to the person and their prescriber, and these pages exist to walk into it prepared.

Which is the point. Everyone in this category promises peace of mind, and peace of mind cannot be checked. A document can. So this page is the proof: not what the app says it does, but what it leaves in your hands.
