Who runs the background check?

All checks are processed by BackgroundChecks.com, a nationally accredited Consumer Reporting Agency. SeniorThrive does not run, store, or share the full reports.

How does a caregiver get Pre‑Checked?

Caregivers click Get Pre‑Checked in their dashboard, create their own secure BackgroundChecks.com account, and order the check. Once complete, the badge appears on their SeniorThrive profile automatically.

What information does SeniorThrive see?

We only see the status, whether the check is complete or still processing. The full report remains private in the caregiver's BackgroundChecks.com account.

Who pays for the background check?

Caregivers pay directly through BackgroundChecks.com. Pricing and package details are shown before purchase.

How long does the process take?

Most checks finish within 1–3 business days. Some county or federal searches may take longer depending on local records.

Can families or hiring agencies run background checks too?

Yes. Families or agencies can also create their own BackgroundChecks.com account and run a check on a caregiver before hiring.

How do I stay connected with my family and care team?

Your ThriveCircle is your private space for staying connected with family members, friends, and caregivers. Send messages, share updates, coordinate care, and keep everyone on the same page, all inside SeniorThrive. You can also use built-in video calls, and our Companion Chat AI partners like Finn, Charlie, and Riley are available any time you want someone to talk to.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

Can I watch videos on a TV instead of my phone or computer?

Yes. When you click a video, it opens in YouTube. From YouTube you can cast or airplay the video to a smart TV using the options in your YouTube app or browser.

What if a video is too fast or too hard for me?

That is completely fine. Every video has a length shown on the thumbnail. Start with shorter videos in the Chair Yoga, Seated Exercises, or Calm Breathing categories, these are the gentlest options. Always stop if you feel pain or discomfort.

How do I reset my monthly goal?

Click the Set Goal button at the top of the Fitness Videos page and enter a new number. Your goal updates immediately.
